As much as I have a penchant for unusual & unconnected themes - vintage circus, burlesque, dystopian, fantastical - my client is front & center at what I do at MOS.
Collaboration with you is essential in order to be able to detail your story with a careful and nuanced understanding of who it is being authored for and the context it will be implemented in. The idea is not to impose my love for skulls, vintage knobs, parasols, corsets, punk slogans & what-have-you-not pageantry in your home but instead have your space reflect and celebrate you, your quirks, your style.
The focus ought not to be on specializing in a specific style but on reinventing how people perceive how their home or space ought to be. It does not matter if the brief is traditional, modern, or whimsical, the idea is to give it a bit of a shake and a bit of a twist, and make it, well, Sintillating!
The core of my design process is to listen to and connect with my client and assist them in calling to mind what it is that they really want. While some may have a clear idea, others may be not. In either case, I look to inspire with an alternate vision to help unravel their story. This may take one or more sessions.
I approach my projects through a multifaceted lens made up of multiple characters and influences. After gathering and understanding your influences and passions, I look to build a narrative. I research and refine the idea & detail the concept using mood boards and 3D visuals.
Once green-lighted, it’s a sort of whirlwind adventure, a scavenger hunt to make, find, & put together all the necessary pieces, in collaboration with various technical & creative artists, to not just accomplish the brief but to Sintillate!
MOS is a modern creative studio, focusing on creative stylistic designs, creative direction, & visual execution for residential, commercial & public spaces.
We have an irrepressible urge for creative freedom, curiosity, a desire to explore and the courage to combine the seemingly irreconcilable. Our approach disregards the tendency to have a consistent style running through our projects and we see each project as an opportunity to engage with a different personality, to test a new material, to work with a new palette, or to collaborate with a new artisan or an expert. This sense of flux is also the life force of the studio.

LOCATION: Bangalore
So far, we’ve had the opportunity to work on new homes, bungalow renovations, design studios, bars, art installations, set design, magazine stories, as well as design & development of products. We work extensively alongside architects, artists, designers, artisans, specialists, and manufacturers from diverse backgrounds –creating and delivering style that is cogent, personalized & Sintillating!
